Careers at AffirmiCare

At AffirmiCare, we believe that living life to the fullest is essential. We are committed to offering our clients the opportunity to live their life as independently as possible. Are you searching for meaning in your work, a flexible job to earn some extra money? If so, we invite you to read on to learn more about our job opportunities for Personal Care Assistants.

What would I be doing as a caregiver each day?

While every client is different, and each day can bring a new adventure, some of the daily routines you may be assisting with are preparing a meal, reminding a gentleman to take his medication, washing the dishes, folding the laundry, or taking out the trash. You may be asked to assist your client with choosing her outfit for the day and helping her look her best, including providing some personal hygiene assistance. You may learn to play a new card game, go for a stroll in a park, or provide transportation to the grocery store or a nearby museum. Caregivers offer services to clients in their homes, which may include individual residences or apartments inside of a senior residential community. While we provide the opportunity for in-person training and support throughout your employment, as well as opportunities to connect with your fellow teammates, your work will be mostly independent.
