FAQs

While every client is different, and each day can bring a new adventure, some of the daily routines you may be assisting with are preparing a meal, reminding a client to take their medication, washing the dishes, folding the laundry, or taking out the trash. You may be asked to assist your client with choosing her outfit for the day and helping her look her best, including providing some personal hygiene assistance. You may learn to play a new card game, stroll in a park, or provide transportation to the grocery store or a nearby museum. Caregivers offer services to clients in their homes, including individual residences or apartments inside a senior residential community. While we provide the opportunity for in-person training and support throughout your employment and opportunities to connect with your fellow teammates, your work will be mostly independent.

“…I would also say, as cliché as it sounds, just knowing that I'm making a difference in somebody's life, whether it's something as simple as helping them tie their shoe, or make a grocery list for them, or accompany them to a doctor's appointment. It's just great knowing that I'm helping somebody.”
